About Sloan Roberts

Sloan Roberts is a Melbourne-based design studio founded by husbands David Sloan Kruse and Nigel Robert Brown. The studio brings together David’s more than 16 years of experience in homewares and lighting retail, including award-winning product design, with Nigel’s two decades in construction, project delivery and making.

Designed and hand-assembled in Melbourne, their premium modular hardware is defined by material integrity, proportion and thoughtful detail. The Ensemble collection combines marble, timber and metal across handles, knobs and hooks, allowing customers to shape their own compositions. Architectural in approach, the work reflects a shared belief that good design comes from balance — between precision and warmth, contrast and restraint, and personal expression within a considered system.
