Caring for your hardware
Each material needs slightly different care. Find yours below.
Timber
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
In kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, wipe off water promptly and avoid long exposure to steam. Excess water, harsh chemicals and acidic cleaners can wear the sealed surface over time.
Metal
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid abrasive pads, chemical sprays, acidic products and harsh cleaners, which can damage plated and painted finishes. High-touch areas may show light signs of use over time, as with any hardware finish.
Marble
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Our marble is left untreated and will develop a patina with use. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners and standing water, which can mark the stone, and handle with care, as stone can chip if it is struck.

Everyday cleaning
A soft, damp cloth is all you need. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemicals and harsh solvents on every finish, as they can affect the finish and the natural materials.
Checking fixings
With use, handles can loosen slightly. Check them now and then, and tighten the screws from the back of the door or drawer with a hand screwdriver.
Never use power tools, and don’t overtighten, particularly on marble and timber pieces.
