Our story
Sloan Roberts began long before the brand itself. The name was coined in 2005 from our middle names, Sloan and Robert. It was never just a name, but an idea, and it still shapes how we work today.
Sloan Roberts is a Melbourne-based design studio founded by husbands David Sloan Kruse and Nigel Robert Brown, bringing together two different backgrounds with a shared feel for material, proportion and making.
We design premium, modular cabinet hardware defined by material integrity and thoughtful composition. Each handle, knob and hook is part of a system: choose the material, the size and the button detail, and the result is always deliberate, whether it leans toward calm continuity or clear contrast.
Designed and assembled in Melbourne, with our timber made here to order, every piece is shaped by the details you choose.
